OMANN JUN

Danish Furniture Company, founded in 1933

Andreas Omann, the son of Niels Omann who had founded Ølhom Møbelfabrik in 1892, founded Omann Jun Møbelfabrik. He originally focused on the production of beds and dining tables. By the 1950s, the company had expanded and started developing a range of sideboards, desks, coffee tables, bookshelves and office suites. Many of these pieces became iconic, crafted to a high standard in carefully selected teak and rosewood timbers, displaying elegant and refined forms, sharp detailing and delicate lightness.

Vintage Gunni Omann model 19 highboard in rosewood. This magnificent piece features four sliding doors with beautifully sculpted solid rosewood handles pulls revealing four pull out trays and height-adjustable shelves beneath.

Stunning grain throughout and will make for the perfect statement piece. Designed in 1958, labelled and produced by Omann Jun Møbelfabrik.
